An e-mail to my best mate in Cairo

Dear Ahmed,

Am missing you like crazy , specially that i can imagine what you are in right now with all these war victims that are transported from the borders to our "beloved" hospital!

Am still adapting to life here , it is totally unlike Cairo's life.

In Cairo , i can find intimacy and compassion.Here , nothing..You have your work and you have to accept what the society is offering you.What is really helping through all that is the maintenance of my relationship with God.

Am following Egypt's news the best i can ..At my room , am living the same way i was doing in Cairo.In the streets and daily life, i have chosen to treat people the same way i was doing in Cairo;am sometimes decent and adorable .Other times, am totally indecent!

I guess you know me when am on my nerves!

Am still trying to know my Professor,what he likes and dislikes.In addition to his way of thinking so that i will work according to his "will".

Believe me , here is more like the way we were doing in Cairo!

More or less the same burocracy and the same way in OR as well.

My Professor is still trying to understand me , am coming from a different world to him.

When am more like myself, i mean the way you know me , he is feeling a little bit strange but relaxed.I guess he was expecting me , because am a woman coming from the middle east,to be humble and shy.But am not like that and this is very much surprising him!

The culture here is really strange!

Am adapting little by little , i wish i will be able to reach the best i can from this step.
