because he talks about a normal process occuring daily and he'd better write about it in a medical book about reproduction and sex

thanks for putting a comment down here..but i have chosen this line from the novel..it is a medical novel by the way about tissue transplant and leukaemia..a sister ,let me say ,was clonned in a certain way so that her genes are 'favorable' for her beloved sister..they can take from her bone marrow any time they want in order to keep her sister alive..but one day she decided to step up for her own life ..it is a novel filled with emotions on a medical background.
